Death Narrative
I have listened to people now more than ever raising funds to save people from death. The dying will admit that these may not save me, but hopefully we will save someone else. There is a cure! But nobody wants to talk about it. People want to talk about stoping death, it is like stopping a runny nose when you have a cold. You need to defeat the cold! Death is our enemy, but it's root cause is sin.
I have the cure for death. I have the cup of eternal life. I have the water that give life everlasting. I have the one who has conquered death. Give me a death narrative, and I will give you the power to over come. I will give you the strength to survive. It is Jesus Christ our Lord.
I admit that I have not faced the death of a loved one like other people. I do not have the words to solve your struggles with lose or pain. I do have a Hope, a Faith, a Cure, a Cup, a Font, a Table, and a Savior. I have long stared in the face of death welcoming it to do its worst, because I know that it will not hold me. It did not hold my savior.
Face death with a powerful narrative. Death was born in a garden. Death was given life when a woman and a man ate from something they were commanded not to eat from. Death grew powerful as the earth swallowed up the blood of their son. Death grew even stronger as it broke down the body formed in perfection. Death was fed by the wickedness of the hearts of men. Death was given power as the creation was consumed by water. Death no reigned in the lives of men. But a man came to fight death. This man walked into the arms of death without fear. This man gave up his own life, not allowing death to take it from him. He brought his body and soul back together conquering death in his resurrection. He has taken the power from death. He has forgiven people of their sins. Thank you.
