Incest is Wrong

There are many forms of sexual immorality. St Paul warns the people against falling into sexual immorality. Romans 13, "Let us walk properly as in the daytime, not in orgies and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and sensuality, not in quarreling and jealousy." Sexual immorality is often included in a long line of detestable acts.

But what is sexual immorality. Is this sex in all classifications. In our culture people often ask about oral sex or masturbation. These all fall under sexual immorality. But today the thought needs to be focused on something most people recognize as sexual immorality. Incest defined as sexual intercourse between persons so closely related that they are forbidden by law to marry also the statutory crime of such a relationship.

Sexual immorality would definitely cover incest. Situations were people have sexual relations with closely related persons. These would be sisters, brothers, mothers, fathers, step-family, cousins, and etc. Some people may ask how far this extends, but the truth is if it is questionable then you should not do it.

God lays down these laws in a place most people know very well. I will leave it up to you to find this place. I will explain it later. But the point is that all sexual immorality is connected. Thank you.

The Death of the Holy Innocents

Many people die for what they believe in. Some die for righteous people. But these chosen few die on behalf of the one who will save us all. These children have all sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God. But these children die on account of the Christ Child. Many people have been martyred because they confessed the faith. These children did not stand or even get a chance to stand. They were cut down because they were seen as the threat to King Herod. Rachael mourns for her children. Rachael died giving life to Benjamin near Bethlehem. Rachael now weeps as all the children of this town are slaughtered. But just as Rachael died giving birth to life. Biblical Marriage

Marriage is defined in Genesis as a man clinging to his wife and the two becoming one flesh. This definition is standardized even in the New Testament by both Jesus and St Paul. Therefore, we have generally said Marriage is defined as one Man and one Woman being joined together in a life long union.
