Pardon the UnPardonable
I remember my History when Ford pardoned Nixon and ruined his political career. In Isaiah 55 it says, "Seek the LORD while he may be found; call upon him while he is near; let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the LORD, that he may have compassion on him, and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon."
God will abundantly pardon. Have you ever really thought about what that means? Jesus forgives the sins of people he has never meet before, but he knows their heart. God pardons sinners from the greatest of us to the least. You can think of the worst people in history. Think of Hitler and his minions and all they killed. Think of the mass murders. If you have ever watched a Hannibal Lector Movie or Criminal Minds, then you can understand wicked people. Think of all the wicked people who God is desiring to Pardon. All their sins have been paid for in the Death of Christ.
The People of Nineveh in the Book of Jonah are truly wicked yet with the Word of God spoken through Jonah these people turn and do not perish. These people are pardoned by God. He truly does have the power and desire to forgive all sins. His compassion is beyond our comprehension. His Peace surpasses all our understanding.
