Watchtower

Habakkuk takes his stand on his watchtower. He stands waiting for God's answer. He stands waiting to see what God will do to the People of Israel. Habakkuk is a watchmen ready to hear the Word of the LORD. Habakkuk 2:1 "I will take my stand at my watchpost and station myself on the tower, and look out to see what he will say to me, and what I will answer concerning my complaint."

Habakkuk seems tell us that is where he works. Habakkuk listens to the word of the Lord and responds. He takes this message to the people. Habakkuk along with the rest of the Prophets, act as watchmen to tell the word of the LORD. These watchmen tell us about the coming of the LORD. The LORD will come and now I would say very soon.

Jesus becomes a true watchmen. He points out the dangers all around us. He takes on the enemies. He delivers us from the evil coming. And when he arrives we will hear the final trumpet sound. Maybe this is not enough, but Jesus is the Watchman who sits in Heaven and watches over us. He is the one who reminds us of the truth. He is also the one who warns us of the coming disaster or Judgment Day. (It really depends on which side of the great divide you are going to end up on.) Take care have a great March Madness.
