Disfunctional Church

You may have heard of Dysfunctional Families. These are families that struggle with each other. They do not have solid over all structure. They develop conflicts against each other. Even in some cases they will disown family members. Disfunctional Families have become more and more common over the years.

The Disfunctional Church is the same way. The Church is a family. The Church is people who are called by God to be Christians. The Church are the sons of God. The Church is made up of all the children of God. But these children do not get along. These children teach different things about their parents. They all have different perspectives. The Children even develop conflicts with each other. But they are still family. The Children may even disown other children.

The great thing is that our Father does not reject any family members. Yet, the children do not actually know who are all their brothers and sisters. The children can only look at others who claim to be family members and treat them like family or disown them. The Disfunctional Church is not just in conflict but in disorder. The Disfunctional Church seems to have lost its father figure. The Disfunctional church needs structure.

I will not be able to give any structure, but I think it is better to recognize that we are disfunctional. A family that has been divided and has conflict takes a long time to heal. But it takes a first step in order to take the next step. Thank you.

Gettysburg of Abortion (South Dakota)

Biblical Marriage

Marriage is defined in Genesis as a man clinging to his wife and the two becoming one flesh. This definition is standardized even in the New Testament by both Jesus and St Paul. Therefore, we have generally said Marriage is defined as one Man and one Woman being joined together in a life long union. Most people think that this Marriage union is created through a man dressed in black and woman dressed in white walking down an aisle to be joined together before some kind of altar. But this is only a ceremony of marriage.
