Let's Celebrate Life
I often sit down and think about the great people in History. I think about writers and Political figures. I even sometimes think about Blacksmiths and carpenters that there is no record of ever living. People that get lost in the cracks. People who never had birth certificates or church records. These people who lived their life without any thought of being remembered.
So many people whether kids or adults can tell you the name of Sports Stars or Actors. But how many of us know the Doctor who delivered you? How many people know the Pastor who Baptized you? I think about those people who have touched our lives so deeply in different times of our lives that we forget.
Let us Celebrate Life and all the people God has placed in our life. He gave us so many different classmates in school (Grade and High School, even College). These people that helped to develop us into who we are today. Even your teachers who tried to mold those impressionable minds.
But Celebrate the Life God has give you. Now think about if you had never existed. How many of those people would not be who they are today? If you had not been their to save them from bad choices? If you had not influenced their bad choices? If you did not talk to them about issues of Life? How would their lives have changed? Sometimes I think that people's lives would have been better and other times I wonder how they would have survived.
Celebrate the Life God has give you to make a difference. He has placed you on this earth for a purpose. You are here not just to show the Love of God. You are not just God's witness of how to live your life. You are his messenger sent to tell people how God loves them and desires to use them. Or maybe your message should be that Christ died for their sins and the grace of God has come for all of us. He is their with you when you speak opening people's hearts and minds. It is not about understanding but out believing.
Celebrate Life because God has given that life to us all. Just as he called Jeremiah to stand before Kings and the People. Jeremiah's call also tells us "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you' I appointed you a prophet to the nations." We are not all Jeremiahs. But we are given a gift of Life to share with other people.
Celebrate Life and live like there is no tomorrow telling people today they are forgiven. Do not hold back the message for the perfect time, but shout it from the mount tops. Tell everyone you know that Jesus Christ is Lord.
Thank you for reading this message.
