Snow does Not return Void?

I think many people in the United States would agree with Isaiah. Snow comes down from heaven and it does not seem to go away very fast. Whether you are on the East Coast with 60" or in the Midwest with 50". Snow does not seem to Go away very fast. I think it is supposed to be sunny tomorrow, but they said it was supposed to be blowing snow today and it was not.

I do not trust weathermen but I do trust the Word of the LORD. "For as the rain and the SNOW come down from heaven and do not return there but water the earth, making it bring forth and sprout, giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it." God gives precipitation upon the earth so that our crops may grow. This helps for your grass to be green. Hopefully your grass will not be under water. Remember all this snow will eventually melt and the rivers will rise.

But God sends us this Snow so that it may do what it is supposed to do. The ground needs the water to give your plants drink. There are many areas around the world that would love to have water. Water was even one of the things the people of Haiti were requesting. They need water to drink. This Snow could help those people in Haiti. Bottle your snow and send it to Haiti? Maybe not the best Idea I have had over the years. But the point is God gives the world snow just like he gives the world his WORD.

Those people who see large amounts of snow every year seem to also be located near a lot of Hardy Lutherans. But now all Christians need to take that WORD and spread it to all parts of this country. God sends his WORD into the flesh to dwell amongst us. God sends his WORD in us to our neighbors. But he also sends a lot of Snow on Washington. Those people in Washington need to hear the WORD of God. People all over the Country need to hear the Word of God.

May the Snow remind you all that God sends his word out. He sends it out through you who have to walk through those many inches of snow. You take that word and give it to anyone and everyone you can. Remember that word once was in the flesh and melted before it ascended back into heaven. Melted also could mean died and was buried. Thank you for sharing this word with your friends and family.

The Death of the Holy Innocents

Many people die for what they believe in. Some die for righteous people. But these chosen few die on behalf of the one who will save us all. These children have all sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God. But these children die on account of the Christ Child. Many people have been martyred because they confessed the faith. These children did not stand or even get a chance to stand. They were cut down because they were seen as the threat to King Herod. Rachael mourns for her children. Rachael died giving life to Benjamin near Bethlehem. Rachael now weeps as all the children of this town are slaughtered. But just as Rachael died giving birth to life. Biblical Marriage

Marriage is defined in Genesis as a man clinging to his wife and the two becoming one flesh. This definition is standardized even in the New Testament by both Jesus and St Paul. Therefore, we have generally said Marriage is defined as one Man and one Woman being joined together in a life long union. Most people think that this Marriage union is created through a man dressed in black and woman dressed in white walking down an aisle to be joined together before some kind of altar. But this is only a ceremony of marriage.
