Who is the AntiChrist? Part One

The Lutheran Confessions remind me that the AntiChrist is the Papal Authority. But How can I say that Good German in the Vatican is the AntiChrist? Could any German really be the AntiChrist. Watch it just because you were the Leader of Germany does not mean you are not Austrian. Is that really true? Well think about it who is the AntiChrist.

I heard a great mind say that we will not know who the Last Day AntiChrist is until he has come and gone. You can not really label some one's career until they are done. Can I say that Kobe Bryant is better than Dwayne Wade? Not until their careers are all over and they are judged by History. In the movie the Patriot General Cornwallis (sp) says that History will Judge him not just by winning but also by the way they fight this war.

All Characters in History are judged on their actions and the consequences of their actions. Some people think we should be judged by results not by the means. But Hitler's scientist made great advancements in science we still benefit from. Not to mention the influence upon Darwinism (referenced as a Religion). But he is still viewed as one of the AntiChrists.

I think we must more narrowly define the term AntiChrist to be someone opposed to Christ. Now Nazism is opposed to Religion that does not help their cause. But this did not mean he stood against the Church. But he did stand against Judaism. You really need to think about people closer to yourself. Maybe even you have fit the role of AntiChrist at one point in time. You may have placed an emphasis on something which hindered someone from seeing the Grace of God.

The truth is I think we all can find ourselves talking to people and influencing them in the wrong direction unknowingly. The Devil is out there ready and willing to use your great knowledge about God to his advantage. Your words can be twisted in someone else's mind. Thus, you become the AntiChrist for that person. Now this does not mean anything more than Satan has used you to do his bidding. This is no different than any other sin we would commit. But be aware of what you say and try your best not to lead others into sin. Jesus says, "Whoever receives one such child in my name receives me, but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a great millstone fastened around his neck and to be drowned in the depth of the sea."

This is a very wide definition of the term AntiChrist. Hope you think about this some more. I know I will.

The Death of the Holy Innocents

Many people die for what they believe in. Some die for righteous people. But these chosen few die on behalf of the one who will save us all. These children have all sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God. But these children die on account of the Christ Child. Many people have been martyred because they confessed the faith. These children did not stand or even get a chance to stand. They were cut down because they were seen as the threat to King Herod. Rachael mourns for her children. Rachael died giving life to Benjamin near Bethlehem. Rachael now weeps as all the children of this town are slaughtered. But just as Rachael died giving birth to life. Biblical Marriage

Marriage is defined in Genesis as a man clinging to his wife and the two becoming one flesh. This definition is standardized even in the New Testament by both Jesus and St Paul. Therefore, we have generally said Marriage is defined as one Man and one Woman being joined together in a life long union. Most people think that this Marriage union is created through a man dressed in black and woman dressed in white walking down an aisle to be joined together before some kind of altar.
